Fire of the North line launched

Diarough Canada introduced its new Fire of the North diamonds to the jewellery trade at the Jewellery World Expo, held Aug. 7-9 at the National Trade Centre in Toronto. The stones are mined, cut and polished in Canada.

Diarough Canada sources its diamonds from the Ekati and Diavik mines in the Northwest Territories. They are cut and polished at the company’s new factory in the eastern Quebec town of Matane.

The Diarough Group, founded in 1975, is headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium. It employs 20,000 people worldwide and is a major De Beers sight holder as well as a client of BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto Diamonds.
