East Asia Minerals Corp. of Vancouver has named Robert Parsons to its board of directors. He has more than 40 years of experience with mining companies of all sizes in matters relating to taxation, economic feasibility, financing and dispute resolution. Retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Parsons currently serves as an executive of the World Mines Ministries Forum, and on the PDAC's international affairs committee.
Martyn Konig is now executive chairman and president of European Goldfields, based in Whitehorse, NWT. Dimitrios Koutras is preparing to step down from his duties as chairman so that he may focus on subsidiary Hellas Gold as it takes two projects in Greece to production.
