BENEFITS AGREEMENT: Taykwa Tagamou, Detour Gold sign memorandum

TORONTODetour Gold Corp. and the Taykwa Tagamou Nation have signed a memorandum of understanding that will guide their relationship as they negotiate the impact and benefit agreement for the Detour Lake gold project 140 km northeast of Timmins, ON.

 

According to the pre-feasibility study produced in September 2009, the property has proven and probable reserves of 238.6 million tonnes at 1.15 g/t Au or more than 8.8 million contained oz of gold. A conventional truck-and-shovel open pit operation is planned.
