GOLD EXPLORATION: Bonanza assays from Destiny project

TEXT SIZE bigger text smaller text

QUEBEC - Pacific North West Capital of Vancouver has received a bonanza-grade assay - 51.66 g/t Au - from its Destiny (formerly Despinassy) gold project 75 km north of Val d'Or. The result came from a 0.50-metre intersection within a 12.25-metre zone that averaged 2.983 g/t Au. The same diamond drill hole cut several other gold-bearing zones including a footwall zone that averaged 3.35 g/t Au over 2.9 metres and contains a high-grade vein that assayed 12.84 g/t Au over 0.65 metres.

The company says the gold mineralization was intersected more than 500 metres below surface, and the zone remains open below that. Very fine-grained free gold was observed in the core. Multiple zones of shearing, alteration, quartz veining and mineralization were observed.

Pacific North West has an option to earn a 60% interest in the Destiny project. The claims are owned by Alto Ventures, also of Vancouver. Maps and additional information are available at www.AltoVentures.com. The January 2007 43-101 report is posted at www.PFNCapital.com.
