TORONTO – For the sixth time, WARDROP ENGINEERING has been named to the list of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. The list was published in the Oct. 10 edition of “MacLean’s” magazine.
Wardrop was recognized for the number of initiatives implemented over the last year related to employee development. Specific items included the establishment of a chief discipline structure and chief discipline portal, increased budget for employee training, management training to bring out the best in people, the number of social activities and promotions within the company, and the firm’s diverse workforce demographics. Most importantly, MacLean’s determined that while Wardrop is one of the fastest growing companies in Canada, its growth is the result of the hard work, dedication, and effort of the employees.
“This is an award that gives us great pride,” said Wardrop CEO Shayne Smith. “No other engineering company has been named to the list more than Wardrop. It recognizes how we seek and retain high calibre staff, and stay on top of our competition. It also positions us as an employer of choice in the engineering consulting industry.”
Recognition as one of this country’s top employers is only the latest of the awards garnered by Wardrop. Learn more at www.Wardrop.com.
