CMJ's list of Top 40 Canadian mining companies always generates feedback. Usually, we hear, "Why wasn't my company included?" Since this is the season of annual reports and meetings, we are inviting anyone who thinks his or her company might make the list to tell us so. Contact Marilyn Scales at mscales@CanadianMiningJournal.com.

These are the qualifiers:
1) The company must be registered in Canada.
2) It must have at least one operating mine or a sizeable equity interest in one.
3) The mine may be anywhere in the world, unlike previous years when only companies with mines in Canada were considered.

We will search public documents such as annual reports for a company's revenue, earnings (or loss), and assets numbers for 2005 and 2004. The company with the highest revenue will top the list.

If your company is not publicly traded but you want to be on the list, please send us the figures mentioned above.
