AWARD: CPA Canada recognizes Goldcorp’s corporate reporting expertise

TORONTO – The Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) has recognized Goldcorp’s excellence in corporate reporting for the third time. The Overall Award of Excellence was given away at the CPA Canada annual ceremony on Dec. 9, 2015. Goldcorp was also the recipient of an award for Excellence in Sustainability Reporting and was the industry winner in the mining category. "At Goldcorp, we believe that strong and transparent social, environmental and economic performance and disclosures are fundamental to sustainable business practices," said Brent Bergeron, the miner’s executive VP of corporate affairs and sustainability in a news release.
