AWARD: Osisko's Denis Cimon is 2013 Mineral Processor of the Year

OTTAWA – The Canadian Mineral Processor Society named Denis Cimon of Osisko Mining Corp. its 2013 Mineral Processor of the Year at its annual meeting last month. He was honoured for his leading role in the design, development, commissioning and management of the Canadian Malartic gold mine and his continuing role as general manager of the project.

Cimon holds a bachelor or mining engineering and a masters in ore processing from Laval University along with over 25 years' experience in the industry. He joined Osisko in September 2007 as manager of mineral processing and became Canadian Malartic manager in 2009. His job title since January 2013 is VP of technical services for the company.
