NEWFOUNDLAND - At its Tulks South property in the central part of the province MESSINA MINERALS of Vancouver continues to expand the size of the Boomerang massive sulphide zone. Hole GA06-181 intersected 1.15 m of high-grade material that assayed 4.6% Cu, 6.5% Pb, 13.6% Zn, 384.0 g/t Ag, and 0.3 g/t Au. Other holes have extended the Boomerang strike length to 500 m.
Messina has been drilling the eastern side (where the results mentioned above were found), the near-surface and western bottom of the Boomerang zone.
