NEW BRUNSWICK – Trevali Mining Corp. of Vancouver is intersecting multiple high grade massive sulphide lenses over what it says are significant intervals at its Stratmat zinc-lead-copper deposit in the Bathurst Mining Camp. The deposit hosts a NI 43-101 inferred resource of 5.5 million tonnes grading 6.1% Zn, 2.6% Pb, 0.4% Cu, 54 g/t Ag and 0.6 g/t Au.

The best recent hole returned 26.75 metres that assayed 7.42% Zn, 1.37% Pb, 1.26% Cu, 94.2 g/t Ag and 2.45 g/t Au. Other notable holes returned 6.53 metres grading 14.74% Zn, 7.57% Pb, 0.61% Cu, 118 g/t Ag and 0.61 g/t Au, and 6.5 metres at 9.78% Zn, 5.21% Pb, 0.19% Cu, 56.35 g/t Ag and 0.23 g/t Au.

Trevali said that detailed interpretation of historic drill hole data combined with its recent drilling has resulted in an improved understanding of the local geology and a better 3-D interpretation. Resource definition drilling continues as the company looks at the potential of the Stratmat and Halfmile deposits to support a 4,000 to 5,000 t/d mine and concentrator.
