MONTREAL - At the recent meeting of the Quebec Exploration convention, the FORDIA GROUP awarded bursaries to five students in Ontario and Quebec. The winners were Guillaume Lesage (Laval University), Francois Lapierre (Val d'Or), Joanie Beland (Universit du Qubec Chicoutimi), Francis Lacoursire and Jessica Salois-Rivard (the latter two from Cegep Abitibi-Temiscamingue).
Fordia has offered the bursaries to encourage students studying geology and geological engineering or diamond exploration, drilling and blasting.
