QUEBEC - Toronto-based ALEXIS MINERALS poured its first gold dor bar from the Lac Herbin project near Val d'Or on Nov. 1, 2006. Two bars, totalling 1,374.3 oz, were poured. The pour followed bulk sampling at Lac Herbin. Approximately 15,000 tonnes of development ore from drifting on the Hangingwall and S1W zones were custom milled.
"The milling campaign is the culmination of a lot of hard work by the project team and the successful completion of Phase 3 exploration on the Lac Herbin deposit," said David Rigg, president and CEO of Alexis.
