The snow in eastern Canada is fresh and white, providing the perfect backdrop for this holiday season. The holiday that we celebrate is less important than the time we take to enjoy our friends and families. This is the time of year to reconnect with those we know and reach out to those we don't.

As the year nears its end, the writers and staff of CANADIAN MINING JOURNAL want to wish all our readers and advertisers the best of the season. And we want to thank all of you for reading and supporting the printed magazine and our website. We especially want to thank you for keeping in touch with us through letters and in person. It is our pleasure to keep you informed.

Seasons greetings, and best wishes for 2008!
