BRITISH COLUMBIA - With the final water licences received, NEMI NORTHERN ENERGY & MINING INC. of Vancouver has begun mining at its Trend Small coal mine near Tumbler Ridge. The initial production rate is targeted at 40,000 to 60,0000 tonnes/month. Start-up of the wash plant has been delayed until January 2006 due to delayed equipment delivery.
