CONFERENCE NEWS Two Diamond Meetings in NYC

NEW YORK CITY This sparking town will be host to two meetings of interest to diamond producers and investors this year.

The first is the NEW YORK DIAMOND EXPO 2004, slated for June 2-3, 2004. It is open to both public and private investors with a desire to know who and what are new in the global diamond industry. Events will take place at the New York Marriott Marquis. The 31st WORLD DIAMOND CONGRESS will be held in New York from Oct. 17-20, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. This is the annual forum of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, which established the World Diamond Council that works with 35 governments, the European Union and the United Nations to "rid the industry of the scourge of conflict diamonds."
