THETFORD MINES, QC — Fournier Industries has won a $16-million contract to manufacture equipment for Osisko Mining's 100%-owned Canadian Malartic gold project 25 km west of Val d'Or. An open pit mine and processing plant are to begin operation in 2011.

 

"This first contract with Osisko is a major project for our company. This contract will allow us to maintain more than 65 full-time jobs in the company for a period of one year", according to Fournier VP and CEO Harold Roy.
