QUEBEC QUINTO TECHNOLOGY of Delta, B.C., has awarded the contract for an "opportunity study" of its Peppler Lake iron ore deposit to BUMIGEME of Montreal. The study will define the potential of the project. It will include the scoping of the required on-going resource definition program, metallurgical testing, future mining plans, infrastructure needs, order of magnitude estimates of capital and operating costs as well as projected cash flow, at production rates of 7 million and 10 million tons/year of iron pellets. A detailed development program will also be included, identifying the benchmarks and course of actions for eventual development.
