BRITISH COLUMBIA – Carmax Mining Corp. of Vancouver has expanded the East zone at its Eaglehead copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project near Dease Lake thanks to assays from two diamond drill holes.

Hole 0121 intersected 0.23% Cu, 0.013% Mo, 0.06 g/t Au and 0.91 g/t Ag (0.37% CuEq) over an interval of 521.2 metres. The same interval included 0.21% Cu, 0.003% Mo, 0.02 g/t Au and 0.51 g/t Ag over 278.1 metres (beginning at about 30 metres below surface) and 0.27% Cu, 0.025% Mo, 0.09 g/t Au, and 1.36 g/t Ag over 243.1 metres (ending at the bottom of the hole at 551.08 metres below surface).

Hole 122 intersected 0.28% Cu, 0.016% Mo, 0.14 g/t Au and 1.52 g/t Ag (0.43% CuEq) over an interval of 116.0 metres starting at a core length of 141.0 metres.

Carmax said the holes had two distinct types of mineralization. The upper portions were copper-silver+/-gold-molybdenum and the lower portions were copper-molybdenum-gold-silver.

Assays from two more drill holes are pending. Learn more about the Eaglehead property at CarmaxMining.com.
