PHILIPPINES — Calgary-headquartered TVI Pacific has signed a five-year copper off take agreement with MRI Trading AG of Switzerland. MRI has agreed to purchase all the copper concentrates from TVI’s sulphide project now under development at its Canatuan mine. Startup of mining and sulphide processing is scheduled for mid-November 2008.

 

TVI is preparing to make a copper-zinc flotation concentrate from the lower, sulphide portion of its VMS deposit at Canatuan. Mining and processing of the overlying oxidized gossan have been completed.
