MONGOLIA Step-out drilling on the Hugo North porphyry deposit at the Oyu Tolgoi project has delineated what is believed to be world's highest grade copper mineralization ever found in a porphyry setting, says owner IVANHOE MINES. Recent drilling has also extended the copper/gold core to more than 1.6 km.
Hugo North is part of the 2.8-km-long Hugo Dummett deposit, which in turn is part of the now 5.8-km-long chain of deposits discovered to date by Ivanhoe at Oyu Tolgoi, in Mongolia's South Gobi region. A feasibility study will be ready next year. Complete details about the project are posted at www.IvanhoeMines.com.
Ivanhoe may also earn a 70% interest in the adjacent Shivee Tolgoi property of ENTRE GOLD of Vancouver.
