WILLIAMS LAKE, British Columbia Vancouver-based IMPERIAL METALS has released drilling results from the Northeast and Bell zones at its Mount Polley copper-gold property, which has been on care-and-maintenance since September 2001. The best hole intersected 147.8 metres grading 1.46% Cu and 0.31 g/t Au and 8.92 ppm Ag. The company also continues to drill the Springer zone.
Imperial also owns 50% of the Huckleberry copper mine near Houston, B.C. The company turned over operation of the property late last year to its partner HUCKLEBERRY MINES so that it can concentrate on Mount Polley.
