ONTARIO - Results from recent diamond drilling on the Simon copper property has extended the South zone at depth and along strike, says PELANGIO MINES. The Toronto-based company controls 100% of the project located 130 km west of Ottawa.
Five holes were drilled, and the best intersection was from hole SC05(a). It assayed 2.78% Cu and 5.04% Zn over 1.24 metres. Other significant assay results are posted at www.Pelangio.com. The project is considered highly prospective.
Pelangio has also initiated a 12,000-m drilling program on its Detour Lake property, the site of a former gold mine. Its joint venture partner TRADE WINDS VENTURES is drilling an additional 13,000 metres on Block A of the property.
