MANITOBA – Alexandria Minerals Corp. of Toronto has upgraded and up-sized its mineral resources at its Hudvam copper-gold-zinc-silver project 47 km northeast of Flin Flon. The previous 43-101 report was done in 2008.

Indicated resources are up 10% in tonnage and 5% in metal content. They now stand at 930,400 tonnes grading 1.17% Cu, 3.62 g/t Au, 1.71% Zn, and 13.23 g/t Ag.

The inferred resource grew by 18% in tonnage and 15% in metal content. It is now 612,000 tonnes grading 0.77% Cu, 2.89 g/t Au, 1.26% zinc, and 6.55 g/t Ag. And the deposit is open at depth and along strike.

Due to the gold grades in both categories, Alexandria says Hudvam falls into a class of notable, gold rich volcanic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits typical of the Snow Lake-Flin Flon district.
