NEWFOUNDLAND - Rambler Metals and Mining of London, UK, and Baie Verte, NL, has received the final construction approval from the provincial government for the Ming copper-gold mine on the Baie Verte Peninsula. With the permit comes the final tranche, $6 million, of financing from Sandstorm Gold.

Rambler is ready to move into full pre-development for the mine. Earlier approval for both the mill and office-dry facility has allowed the company to ramp up its workforce in preparation for work in the mine. The company also says most of the underground equipment it ordered has been delivered.

The Ming mine previously operated for about 10 years until 1982. The Ming West mine was active between 1996 an 1996. The property has proven and probable reserves of 1.5 million tonnes grading 1.62% Cu, 2.40 g/t Au, 10.90 g/t Ag and 0.49% Zn.
