YUKON - SHERWOOD COPPER of Vancouver is planning a $4-million, 16,000-m drill program at its Minto copper-gold development project 240 km north of Whitehorse. The goal of the program is to increase high-grade reserves.
The drilling program is divided into two phases. The first will test between the Gap target, between the Minto open pit and Area 2. Of particular interest is the possibility that Area 2 mineralization dips below the Minto deposit. The second phase will drill Area 2, where the potential exists to increase reserves.
