MANITOBA Montreal-based MURGOR RESOURCES has received positive metallurgical results from the company's Hudvam and Wim deposits. Tests conducted by G&T METALLURGICAL SERVICES indicate that a concentrate of 30% to 32.6% Cu and 51 g/t Au can be produced in locked cycle tests. Copper recoveries are predicted to be 89% for Hudvam ore and 92% for Wim material.

The Hudvam property is located less than 40 km northeast of Flin Flon. The latest indicated resource at a 2% CuEq cutoff is 854,076 tonnes grading 1.22% Cu, 1.78% Zn, 3.82 g/t Au and 13.84 g/t Ag. There are an additional 502,901 tonnes in the inferred category grading 0.79% Cu, 1.33% Zn, 3.25 g/t Au and 6.96 g/t Ag. The property has an access ramp nearly 250 metres long, says Murgor, and it could be quickly and cheaply readied for production.

The Wim property is about 15 km north of Snow Lake. Again using a 2.0% CuEq cutoff, it contains 2.78 million tonnes grading 1.94% Cu, 0.30% Zn, 1.88 g/t Au and 7.53 g/t Ag in the indicated resource category. The inferred resources are 446,000 tonnes averaging 1.12% Cu, 0.43% Zn, 2.11 g/t Au and 5.06 g/t Ag. Quick development and minimal capital expenditures are anticipated because the deposit is shallow and close to HudBay's Snow Lake concentrator.
