MANITOBA MURGOR RESOURCES of Montreal has released a preliminary NI 43-101 report for its Wim copper-gold deposit 14 km north of Snow Lake. According to figures compiled by AMEC using a 2% CuEq, the deposit contains 2.1 million t of inferred resources grading 1.92% Cu, 5.58 g/t Ag 0.26% Zn and 1.65 g/t Au. Contained metal is estimated to be 87.3 million lb of copper, 110,000 oz of gold, 11.9 million lb of zinc and 370,000 oz of silver.
Murgor optioned half a dozen properties last year from HUDBAY MINERALS. Murgor may earn a 100% interest in the Wim, Tyr, Fon and Hudvam properties and a 50% interest in the Flin-D and Snow-H grassroots projects.
