COPPER PRODUCTION NEWS Ok Tedi Resumes Full Production (March 24, 2004)

STAR MOUNTAINS, Papua New Guinea Toronto's INMET MINING says full production has been resumed at its Ok Tedi copper mine. In January the failure of a SAG mill left throughput rates at about 50% of normal. Inmet said it lost production of about 12,000 tonnes of copper in concentrate during the past eight weeks.
