NEVADA – Vancouver-based Nevada Copper Corp. has received the revised reclamation permit, the last of the permits needed for its 63,500 t/d open pit and underground mine at the Pumpkin Hollow copper project 160 km southeast of Reno.

The project can now move forward to construction and eventual operation. Stage 1 of the underground operation could begin late in 2017, followed by integration of the open pit to reach the full mining rate early in 2018. Nevada Copper is pursuing financing opportunities.

Proven and probable reserves at Pumpkin Hollow are 518.70 million tonnes grading 0.441% Cu and 0.034 g/t Au, containing 5.05 million lb of copper and 760,585 oz of gold.
