COPPER RESOURCE: Red Chris M&I number more than doubles

BRITISH COLUMBIA - The measured and indicated resources at the Red Chris copper-gold deposit have been more than doubled, according to owner Imperial Metals of Vancouver. The property is located 80 km south of Dease Lake.

The measured and indicated estimate is now 1.26 billion tonnes at 0.321% Cu and 0.319 g/t Au, using a 0.1% Cu cut-off. That tonnage contains approximately 89.89 billion lb of copper and 12.9 oz of gold. In the inferred category, there are now 1.27 billion tonnes at 0.267% Cu and 0.279 g/t Au, containing about 7.44 million lb of copper and an additional 11.36 million oz of gold.

For the first time, Imperial also provided a calculation of the silver resource. The measured and indicated resources, that grades 1.102 g/t Ag, contain 44.59 million oz of silver, and the inferred resource, at 0.991 g/t Au, contains 40.35 million oz of silver.
