TORONTO – Hudbay Minerals has posted its 2014 year end numbers, recording revenue of $559.96 million, compared to $516.80 million in 2013. Positive results for 2014 profit ($71.87 million) and operating cash flow ($15.35 million) added to the positive results.

The company's total assets grew to $5.63 billion from $3.84 billion a year earlier thanks to the completion of three new mines – Lalor and Reed in Manitoba and Constancia in Peru. Together they boosted 2014 copper production 26% above a year earlier.

In 2014, Hudbay's cash cost per pound of copper sold, net of by-product credits was 1.98/lb. Zinc, gold, silver and other metals are considered by-products of copper production. The company sold 66,659 lb of copper last year.

Highlights of the Q4 and 2014 year end financials are contained in the news release dated Feb. 19 and posted at HudbayMinerals.com
