TORONTO – Hudbay Minerals has posted its 2014 year end numbers, recording revenue of $559.96 million, compared to $516.80 million in 2013. Positive results for 2014 profit ($71.87 million) and operating cash flow ($15.35 million) added to the positive results.

The company’s total assets grew to $5.63 billion from $3.84 billion a year earlier thanks to the completion of three new mines – Lalor and Reed in Manitoba and Constancia in Peru. Together they boosted 2014 copper production 26% above a year earlier.

In 2014, Hudbay’s cash cost per pound of copper sold, net of by-product credits was 1.98/lb. Zinc, gold, silver and other metals are considered by-products of copper production. The company sold 66,659 lb of copper last year.
