TORONTO – Inmet Mining Corp. is making a gift of $1 million over four years to support the molecular profiling program at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The program, led by Dr. Lillian Siu and her team, identifies characteristics of a tumour that are specific to each patient. The goal is to individualize treatment and improve response to treatment.

“I am thrilled to play an even more integral role at The Princess Margaret and contribute to one of the leading cancer research centres in the world,” said Inmet president and CEO Jochen Tilk. “I am a strong supporter and advocate of The Princess Margaret and I believe in supporting the vision to conquer cancer in our lifetime.”
