CORPORATE NEWS – Shore, Kensington merger completed

SASKATOON - SHORE GOLD and KENSINGTON RESOURCES of Vancouver have completed their merger, originally announced in August 2005. All Kensington shares were tendered to Shore in consideration for 0.64 of a Shore common share. Shore issued a total of about 51.8 million shares to former Kensington owners and reserved 7.2 million shares that will be issued as needed to fulfill option and warrant obligations.

Three former directors of Kensington were appointed to the board of directors of Shore. The eight-member board is now comprised of five continuing Shore directors (Kenneth MacNeill, Arnie Hillier, Neil McMillan, Ronald Walker and Harvey Bay) and three former directors of Kensington (James R. Rothwell, Robert McCallum and William Stanley).
