MONTREAL – SNC-Lavalin has been ranked 11th among the Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada by Corporate Knights.
Corporate Knights is the leading magazine on corporate responsibility in Canada. The ranking is created according to a series of criteria based on environmental, social and governance indicators found in the public domain. To ensure the accuracy of the assessment procedures and results, an external review of Corporate Knights’ findings is conducted by Deloitte.
“We have ranked well in this report in the past, and we are honoured to continue to be recognized during a period of great transition for the company,” said Ian A. Bourne, vice-chairman and interim CEO. “The fact that we remain a top-ranked corporate citizen at this time demonstrates that SNC-Lavalin is founded on good values, and is a credit to the 28,000 people who live them.”
SNC-Lavalin is one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world and a major player in the ownership of infrastructure, and in the provision of operations and maintenance services. (SNCLavalin.com).
