CORRECTION – Entree Gold

In Monday's article entitled "Taxing Matter: Mongolia slips in windfall mining tax," an erroneous statement was published.ENTREE GOLD INC. (TSX: ETG; AMEX: EGI; FWB:EKA) did not state that "it has been advised that the Mongolian president will not exercise his veto to stop the bill's becoming law." Rather, Entree stated in press releases on May 15 and May 18, 2006, that it continues to monitor developments in Mongolia relating to the proposed imposition of an excess profits tax. There are no assurances the president of Mongolia will or will not veto the proposed legislation. A number of mining and exploration companies, including Entree, have now held talks with various ministers of the Mongolian cabinet in an effort to dissuade it from the onerous financial burden the legislation seeks to impose.
