SMYRNA, Georgia - Sandvik Mining and Construction has introduced a full line of crushing products for open-pit, processing and plant applications. The new C-Series line includes hammer mills, roll crushers, sizers and hybrids.
The company says the CM400 Series hammer mills can be operated at constant or variable drive speeds. The opposing beater arms and heads are precision balanced to eliminate vibrations. This ensures consistent grinding and extended wear life of the hammers. The reversible CM420 model allows the operator to reverse the drive direction without reversing the heads. When parts do need replacing, a hydraulic opening device speeds changeovers.
CR400 Series roll crushers are available in double roll and smooth roll configurations. The double roll model is exclusively designed to produce narrow particle size distribution with consistent size. The smooth roll model is ideal for fine grinding. A hydraulic gap adjustment simplifies final grain size settings.
CR600 Series sizers produce high throughput in a compact dimension. Material is crushed either by counter-rotating rolls (CR610 center sizer) or between the rolls and the crushing plates by outwards rotating rolls (CR620 side sizer).
CR800 Series hybrids combine the capacity of sizers with the reliability of double rolls. An aggressive tooth configuration enables the machine to produce 14,000 t/h with minimal fines output. An exclusive hydraulic gap adjustment compensates for wear and enables operators to quickly adapt to product-size requirements.
