NUNAVUT The Jericho diamond project received approval from the federal Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs earlier this week, says 100%-owner TAHERA CORP. of Toronto. The Nunavut Impact Review Board plans to issue a project certificate within a few weeks.

Tahera has successfully completed the environmental assessment process for the Jericho mine, and finalized an impact benefit agreement with the Kitikmeot Inuit Association that outlines Inuit participation in the project, paving the way for development of Nunavut's first diamond mine.

The company expects it will receive final permits, land leases, and a water licence by the end of this year. Project construction would then begin in early 2005. Complete project details are available at www.tahera.com.
