QUEBEC - Joint owners of the Consorem project in the James Bay region have formed a four-way joint venture to advance the diamond project. Stornoway Diamond Corp. of Vancouver, Virginia Mines of Quebec City, SOQUEM of Val d'Or, QC, and Aurizon Mines of Vancouver each hold a 25% interest in the project and will contribute equally to the ongoing expenditures. Virginia Mines has been named the operator.

The 2010 budget of $300,000 was spent on prospecting and till sampling over the entire property.

The Consorem project is located north of Stornoway's Renard diamond development project. See www.StornowayDiamonds.com for more information.
