GREENLAND An exploration licence covering an area in the southwestern part of the country has been granted to METALEX VENTURES of Kelowna, B.C. It covers 10 untested target areas reported to contain mineral chemistry indicative of diamond occurrences. Field work will begin when the weather allows.

Metalex has suspended work at its Attawapiskat project in the James Bay Lowland area of northern Ontario because of flooding. Crews and equipment have been moved to the Kyle project about 100 km away.
