DIAMONDS: Kennady cuts 100 metres of kimberlite at Kelvin

NORTHWEST TERRITORIES – Toronto-based Kennady Diamonds has intersected over 100 metres of kimberlite in two infill drill holes at the north lobe of the Kelvin kimberlite. The Kelvin kimberlite is part of the company's Kennady diamond project that host the Kelvin and two other kimberlites, Faraday and Hobbs. The project is adjacent to the Gahcho Kué project, located 280 km northeast of Yellowknife, a joint venture of De Beers Canada and Mountain Province Diamonds.

Kennady expects to recover 2,200 kg of kimberlite from the current summer drill program. The material will be tested at the Saskatchewan Research Council and further information may be available in September.
