DIAMONDS: Roadblock removed, Ekati acquisition to go forward

NORTHWEST TERRITORIES – Harry Winston Diamond Corp. has announced that all legal actions surrounding its acquisition of the Ekati diamond mine at Lac des Gras have been discontinued. BHP Billiton, the current owner, and all of the joint venture partners have agreed to waive their rights of first refusal in the sale of BHP Billiton's Ekati interests to Harry Winston.
