VANCOUVER – The Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia is launching an executive MBA with specialization in strategic mining management. The new program is tailored to suit mining professionals working around the world. Students will complete on-line modules and meet four times for week-long residences in Vancouver, London and Santiago. Decision making, global citizenship and leadership skills will be taught.

Students may register for the September 2015 session. They will be granted an EMBA degree after 21 months of study. The program was developed jointly by Sauder and the Norman B. Kevil Institute of Mining Engineering under the guidance of an advisory council of senior mining executives. It will be taught by leading business and mining faculty and private sector experts.
