FINLAYSON LAKE, Northwest Territories TRUE NORTH GEMS has discovered two new structures containing emerald mineralization in the West zone at its Regal Ridge property. The company says the find confirms that the emerald mineralization increases as exploration continues southwest along the property.
Two parallel mineralized zones 10 m apart will be confirmed by trenching this summer. One of the new emerald-bearing structures measures 115 m along strike and up to 2 m in width; the second has yet to be delineated. The addition of these new discoveries bring the number to 11 confirmed emerald-bearing zones located on the 18-sq-km Regal Ridge property.
