NEVADA - The Goldstrike complex near Elko has been recertified under the International Cyanide Management Institute's cyanide management code. The mine belongs to Barrick Gold of Toronto.

Goldstrike produced 1.36 million oz of gold at a total cash cost of US$464/oz in 2009. There remained 12.2 million oz of gold in proven and possible reserves at the end of last year.
