IDAHO – The latest check made by of the passive water filtration system at the Atlanta gold project 90 km northeast of Boise reveals that the system continues to effectively remove arsenic and iron from wastewater at the site. Owner Atlanta Gold of Toronto installed the system in November 2012.

The filtration plant uses a propriety technology that is lower cost, more energy efficient and less hazardous than conventional water treatment methods.

Atlanta Gold plans to licence the passive technology to other users. More about it is available in the news release of Oct. 23, 2012. To learn more, click here.
