BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - The last of NORANDA RECYCLING's five facilities is now accredited to the ISO 14001(2004) environmental standard. The plant at Brampton, the final one to be registered, is an end-of-life-electronics recycling facility.

Registration means that an independent third party has verified that the plants meet the six key standards: an environmental policy, planning, implementation of practices, monitoring, review and continual improvement.

Noranda Recycling, wholly owned by FALCONBRIDGE LTD., is one of the largest recyclers of electronic components and operates three end-of-life electronics recycling facilities located in North America. It also operates two precious metals sampling facilities in the United States and has an office in Malaysia.
