SALT LAKE CITY INCITEC PILOT LIMITED (IPL) has acquired global explosives supplier DYNO NOBEL. The Dyno Nobel brand will be retained with all products and associated trade names. The Dyno Nobel headquarters is now located in this Utah city.

For Dyno Nobel, the integration will strengthen our ability to provide an enhanced level of service as well as products designed to meet our customers' needs," said Dyno Nobel president and CEO Don Brinker.
IPL is a chemical company with nitrogen-based manufacturing as its core business. The company benefits from the acquisition by expanding its business into the mining sector in addition to its traditional fertilizer sector.
