EXPLOSIVES: Nordex blasts into western Canada

KIRKLAND LAKE, Ontario – Nordex Explosives has signed an agreement in principle with the Pacific Group of Companies for a joint venture that will introduce Nordex products and services to western Canada. Based in British Columbia, PCG has developed expertise in controlled precision blasting around the globe since 1954.

Nordex believes the agreement with PCG will expand its sales of proprietary explosives products and equipment, including the Buttbuster perimeter control products and the recently developed Scorpion underground loader system as well as the company's complete line of emulsion products.

Plans are currently underway for the transportation and initial delivery of Nordex products to a new facility currently being developed as part of the Nordex expansion plans for 2014.
