ILLINOIS - CATERPILLAR now offers the 990H front-end wheel loader with a new Cat C27 low-emissions engine, advanced cooling system and enhanced operation station. It is suited to mining, bulk materials handling and high-volume earthmoving. The loader comes with either standard or high-lift arrangements. Bucket capacities are available from 8.4 to 9.2 m.
The 990H retains the best features of the 990G Series II, which it replaces. Fast cycle times, efficient sizing for standard haul trucks, the impeller clutch torque converter and Rimpull control system, and STIC operator controls are all present.
