NEVADA Vancouver-based GOLD CANYON RESOURCES has released drill results from its Cordero gallium project in Humboldt County. The highest reported grade from reverse circulation work was 184.0 g/t Ga over 6.1 m. That was recovered from hole C-86, which returned a total intersection of 13.7 m grading a 126.2 g/t. The company says drilling has shown good continuity over the high grade zone.

Gallium is a soft, silvery metal used in the manufacture of electronic components. At room temperature it is a solid, metallic mineral. At 30C it melts but does not boil until 2,403C, giving it the widest liquid range of any known metal. Most gallium is recovered as a byproduct of treating bauxite or from zinc processing residues.

The Cordero deposit is the largest known primary gallium occurrence in North America. Gold Canyon also has gold, polymetallic and uranium projects in Ontario. Please visit www.GoldCanyon.ca.
